Voici les principales catégories au palmarès des Oscars, via Variety. Sans surprise, l'excellent No country for old men des frères Coen décroche la statuelletdu meilleur film. Oscar pour la réalisation également.




Pour l'intéprétation, aucune surprise non plus pour Daniel Day Lewis pour son rôle dans There will be blood. En revanche, très agréable surprise pour les français avec la victoire de Marion Cotillard, alors que Julie Christie et Ellen Page étaient favorites. Oscar également pour le court-métrage français Le Mozart des pickpockets.
